We have been talking about feminism this whole time and the male counterpart remains underrated. But over time, these conventional concepts are abolishing and men are adapting to unique lifestyles.
Few of the men have been seen breaking the clutter with the unique ideas on masculinity. On the occasion of International Men’s Day, we bring you 4 personalities who dared to break the stereotype and are revolutionizing the concept of masculinity. So, let us dive right away!
The well-known content creator Ankush Bahuguna is a 27-year-old dashing male personality who has a unique definition of masculinity. He is seen creating comedy content on Youtube and Instagram with a huge fan following. What makes Ankush Bahuguna unique is his versatile content. Recently, he started shooting make-up tutorials for men. Beauty make-up for men is quite obsolete in our society. But breaking that stereotype Ankush has a Youtube channel called, “Wing it with Ankush” where he shoots make-up tutorials that are informative for all men out there. He always tries to promote make-up for men and encourage them to whole-heartedly accept the beauty products without hesitation. He is also seen beautifying some female YouTubers like Dolly Singh, Aishwariya Mohanraj on his show. In an interview, he mentioned he draws inspiration from the LGBTQ+ community and appreciates their efforts. On this International Men’s Day, we appreciate his efforts and revolutionary views on masculinity.
The sensational actor Ayushmann Khurrana is yet another eminent persona who is known for his superb social messages in his films. He is the kind of actor who stood for societal disputes. Recently, he invested in “The Man Company” to be the voice of all the men out there. Being the brand ambassador for Men’s grooming essential company, “The Man Company”, he has come up with a YouTube channel with a show “ Gentlemen kise kehte hai? This show is utterly dedicated to men who carry immense pressure on society. Ayushmann recites an amazing poem on What makes a true Gentleman? Here he beautifully breaks the clutter on the traditional views and rephrases the dialogue “ mard ko dard nahi hota” to “ Jisko dard hota hai wahi mard hota hai”.

The actor Akshay Kumar portrayed the story of Arunachalam in his film “Padman”. His invention of low-cost sanitary napkins has lifted millions of females from unhygienic practices. He is also known as “Menstrual Man” after Amit Virmani made a documentary film on his purposeful invention. Apart from this, he has given lectures at some renowned institutions namely, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and Harvard University. He was also invited for a TED talk about his marvellous invention. We appreciate his efforts and encourage his uplifting views on female menstruation.
Siddharth, a fashion model, and social media influencer has revolutionized men’s fashion to new heights. He likes to experiment with his looks and hairstyles for an innovative look. His Instagram is loaded with fashionable clothing combinations for men to follow. He encourages men’s skincare products and promotes beautifying products with pride.
